Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026 · Effective: July 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Vibeboard (“the App”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App. The App is provided by Umut Demirci, operating as Soulware (“Soulware”), based in Türkiye. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@soulware.app.
1. Who we are
Vibeboard is a visual idea-canvas app: you enter an idea and the App generates an organized board of sticky notes, frames, text, reference links, and AI-generated images that you can edit and export. The App is operated by Umut Demirci (Soulware), based in Türkiye. You can reach us any time at hello@soulware.app.
2. The short version
- The boards and content you create are stored on your device. There are no user accounts and no sign-in.
- To generate or edit a board, the App sends your idea/prompt text and any images you add to AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI), routed through our secure Cloudflare proxy, solely to produce the requested content.
- Your content is not used to train AI models.
- Purchases are handled by Apple — we never see your card details.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not track you across other apps for advertising (no IDFA / no App Tracking Transparency prompt).
3. Information we collect
Content you create (stored on your device)
The ideas you type and the boards you build — sticky notes, frames, text blocks, links, and images — are stored locally on your device. We do not keep a copy on our servers and there is no central account holding your boards.
Prompts and images sent for generation
When you generate or edit a board, the App transmits your idea/prompt text and any images you add to third-party AI providers to produce the requested content. This is described in “How the AI feature works” below. This content is used only to fulfill your request and is not used to train models.
Purchases and subscriptions
Vibeboard offers a free tier and an optional paid subscription (Pro) that unlocks more AI images, unlimited generation, and premium visuals. Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store, and we use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and confirm your Pro status. We may receive confirmation of your purchase and subscription status, but we never receive or store your card details — Apple handles payment under its own terms.
Diagnostics and analytics
To keep the App reliable and improve it, we use Sentry (crash and error diagnostics) and Mixpanel (product analytics). These collect limited technical information such as app version, device model, operating-system version, and general usage events. This data is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising.
What we do not collect
We do not require an account, we do not collect your precise location, we do not sell your information, and we do not use an advertising identifier or serve ads. There is no App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt because we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
4. How we use information
- To generate and edit the boards you request — creating notes, frames, text, reference links, and images.
- To store your boards and content on your device.
- To process and manage your subscription status.
- To keep the App secure, diagnose crashes and errors, understand which features help, and improve performance.
- To respond to your questions and support requests, and to comply with legal obligations.
5. How the AI feature works
When you generate or edit a board, the App sends your idea/prompt text and any images you add over a secure connection to our backend and on to third-party AI providers — Anthropic (Claude) for board structure and text, and OpenAI for image generation — solely to produce the content you asked for. Requests are routed through our secure Cloudflare proxy, which protects our API keys and manages request volume; the proxy does not build a profile of you.
Your content is not used to train the providers’ models. AI-generated boards, images, and links are automated suggestions and may be inaccurate or incomplete — they are not professional advice. Because generation happens through these providers, an internet connection is required for AI features.
6. Where your data is stored
Your boards and the content within them are stored locally on your device. We do not operate user accounts or a central database of your boards. The prompt text and images you submit are transmitted to the AI providers described above only to produce the content you request, and are not retained by us afterward.
7. Third parties
We share information only with the service providers we rely on to run the App, and only as needed. We do not sell your personal information. Our service providers include:
- Anthropic (Claude) — processes your prompt text to generate board structure and text.
- OpenAI — generates images from your prompts and any images you add.
- Apple — processes purchases and subscriptions through the App Store.
- RevenueCat — manages our subscriptions and validates your purchase status. It receives your anonymous app user id and non-identifying purchase events; it does not receive your card details.
- Cloudflare — hosts the secure proxy that routes requests to the AI providers.
- Sentry and Mixpanel — receive limited, non-identifying diagnostic and usage data to help us keep the App stable and useful.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the public.
8. Permissions
- Camera / Photos — requested only when you choose to add an image to a board, and used only for the image you select or capture.
- Notifications — optional. If you opt in, we send local idea-reminder notifications from your device to nudge you to build a board. These are generated on-device and can be turned off any time in Settings.
You can change or revoke permissions at any time in your device’s Settings.
9. Data retention and deletion
Your boards remain on your device until you delete them — you can delete individual boards or their contents inside the App, and uninstalling the App removes the on-device data. Prompt text and images you submit for generation are processed to fulfill your request and are not stored by us afterward. Diagnostic and analytics data is retained for a limited period in aggregate, non-identifying form. To ask us about data we may hold, email hello@soulware.app.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict its use, to object to certain processing, and to data portability.
- EEA / UK (GDPR): you may exercise the rights above and lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Because your boards stay on your device, you control much of your data directly within the App.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
To make a request, contact hello@soulware.app. We may need to verify your request.
11. Children’s privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including secure connections for data sent to our proxy and service providers, and a proxy layer that keeps our API keys off your device. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. International data transfers
Our service providers (including the AI, proxy, analytics, and diagnostics providers) may process data in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
14. No ad tracking
We do not track you across other companies’ apps and websites, and we do not use an advertising identifier (no IDFA) or show a tracking (ATT) prompt. Analytics and crash data are used only to operate and improve the App and are not linked to your identity or used for advertising.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
